Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Amoro application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services. Your continued use of Amoro after any updates to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Eligibility

To use Amoro, you must meet all of the following requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age at the time of registration.
• Not be prohibited from using social connection apps under applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
• Have full legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
• Not have been previously banned or removed from Amoro for violating these Terms.

Account Registration

To access Amoro's features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
• Maintain and promptly update your information to keep it accurate.
• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share your account with others.
• Notify us immediately at support@amoroapp.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Amoro will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

Profile Verification

Amoro requires all users to complete identity verification to maintain a safe, authentic community. Verification involves submitting a valid government-issued ID and a real-time selfie. By submitting verification materials, you confirm that:

• All submitted documents and photos are genuine and belong to you.
• You consent to our verification partner processing your identity documents.
• You understand that submitting false documents may result in permanent account termination and potential legal action.

Acceptable Use

Amoro is designed to help people build genuine, meaningful connections. You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in a manner that respects other users. Specifically, you may:

• Create and maintain an honest profile representing yourself.
• Communicate respectfully with other users.
• Use premium features (boosts, super likes, etc.) as intended by the platform.
• Report content or behaviour that violates these Terms.

Prohibited Conduct

The following actions are strictly forbidden and may result in immediate account suspension or termination:

• Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely claiming affiliation.
• Posting photos or content that do not belong to you.
• Sending spam, unsolicited promotions, or chain messages.
• Harassing, threatening, abusing, or intimidating other users.
• Sharing explicit, pornographic, or sexually suggestive content without mutual consent.
• Soliciting money, gifts, or financial information from other users.
• Attempting to extract another user's personal contact information through deceptive means.
• Using automated bots, scrapers, or other unauthorised tools to access Amoro.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform or its servers.
• Engaging in or promoting illegal activities including trafficking, fraud, or violence.

Subscription & Billing

Amoro offers a free tier alongside three premium plans — Amoro Plus (₹299/mo), Amoro Premium (₹599/mo), and Amoro VIP (₹999/mo). By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

• 7-Day Free Trial: All paid plans include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. Cancel anytime before the trial expires to avoid charges.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Billing: Charges are billed through your Google Play or Apple App Store account and are subject to those platforms' billing terms.
• Price Changes: We may modify pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
• Taxes: Prices shown are inclusive of applicable GST as required under Indian law.

Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access to premium features until then.

Refund Policy: Amoro generally does not offer refunds for partial months or unused subscription periods, except in the following cases:

• Technical errors that prevented you from accessing paid features for more than 48 hours — contact us within 14 days of the issue.
• Duplicate billing due to a system error — contact us within 30 days.
• Refunds required under applicable consumer protection law (including the Consumer Protection Act 2019 for Indian users).

To request a refund, contact billing@amoroapp.com with your account details and the reason for your request. Refund requests will be reviewed within 7 business days.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, features, and code within the Amoro platform — including but not limited to logos, text, graphics, algorithms, and software — are the exclusive intellectual property of Amoro Technologies Private Limited, protected under Indian and international copyright, trademark, and patent law.

By uploading content (photos, text, etc.) to Amoro, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Services. You retain full ownership of your content.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or create derivative works from Amoro's proprietary materials without express written consent.

Disclaimers

Amoro provides its Services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive to maintain a safe and functional platform, we make no warranties — express or implied — regarding:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the platform.
• The accuracy or reliability of any user-provided content.
• The outcome of any connection or relationship formed through Amoro.
• The conduct, identity, or intentions of other users.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Amoro Technologies Private Limited and its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
• Personal injury or property damage arising from use of the Services.
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.
• Any conduct or content of third parties on the platform.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Amoro in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or ₹5,000, whichever is greater.

Termination

By You: You may delete your account at any time from the app's Settings menu. Upon deletion, your profile will be immediately hidden and your personal data will be erased within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

By Amoro: We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, without prior notice or liability, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law.

Upon termination, all licences granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. Any outstanding subscription fees will remain due and payable.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996, with proceedings conducted in Mumbai, Maharashtra, in the English language.

Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction for matters involving intellectual property or urgent data protection concerns.
